LOGAN — A woman was killed in a car accident in Logan on Monday afternoon.
The woman was the passenger in a white sedan traveling south on 1000 West about 1 p.m., according to Logan police. The car collided with an SUV traveling on 1000 South, when the car made a left turn in front of the SUV, police said.
The elderly male driver of the white car was taken to the hospital with injuries not believed to be life threatening. The SUV driver and passenger’s injuries were also not life threatening, police said.

The cause of the accident is under investigation, and the name of the woman who was killed was not released pending family notification.
