Jaclyn Martin feeds a kitten during a kitten feeding demonstration at Best Friends Kitten Care Center in Salt Lake City on Sunday. The organization is looking for “Kitten First Responders,” volunteers who can be trained and on-call to temporarily take baby kittens who need to be bottle fed. Since March, Best Friends has received and placed more than 1,500 kittens in foster homes. Anyone interested in learning more about the Kitten First Responders program or other foster opportunities can email utahfoster@bestfriends.org or begin the process by filling out a foster application at on the Foster page at utah.bestfriends.org.
