West Jordan police officers investigate the scene of a shooting that left one man dead in West Jordan on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020. Officers responded to the area of 7000 South and 5200 West about 2:30 a.m. and found a man deceased in the street, according to West Jordan Police Lt. Richard Bell. Investigators believe the black van was parked near the intersection of Ticklegrass Road and Sparrowtail Road about 2:20 a.m. when a silver car, possibly a Cadillac CTS, pulled up. Police say one person got out of the Cadillac and fired several shots at someone in the van. Police do not have a suspect description, but they are looking for a silver four-door Cadillac CTS with significant damage to the rear passenger side.
