The Jazz Bear takes a group selfie with Meggan Hafen and her son, Tristin Melton, 9, during the Big Brothers Big Sisters Holiday Drive Thru at a parking lot in Taylorsville on Thursday. During the event, Littles (youths living in adversity), their Bigs (volunteer mentors) and their families were invited to pick up warm winter coats, gift cards and fun treats. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah provided mentoring to more than 1,200 youths throughout the state last year from elementary to high school, according to the organization’s website.
