TOOELE — A driver died Sunday after a rollover crash on I-80 in western Utah, troopers said.

The crash occurred about 2:46 p.m. on I-80 in Tooele County when an eastbound Toyota pickup truck drifted into the median for an unknown reason, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.

The driver then overcorrected right then went back to the left, troopers said, causing the truck to roll. When it came to rest, the truck caught fire.

The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, died in the crash. Troopers suspect he wasn’t wearing his seat belt at the time.
