SALT LAKE CITY — Police have released the identity of a man killed in a fiery wrong-way crash in Parleys Canyon over the weekend.
Arturo Hernandez, 50, of Park City, was killed when his 2001 Toyota Corolla, which was traveling west in the eastbound lanes of I-80 lanes in Parleys Canyon, struck a 2015 Ford F-250 hauling a trailer, according to the Utah Highway Patrol. The crash happened about 11:40 p.m. Saturday.
A man and a woman in the Ford were able to get out of their vehicle before it became completely engulfed in flames, the UHP stated.
