HUNTSVILLE, Weber County — A motorcyclist was killed after crashing on state Route 167 in Weber County on Sunday, troopers said.

The crash occurred about 3:40 p.m. when the southbound motorcyclist entered an uphill left-hand turn and “was unable to navigate the curve” and hit the pavement, striking a metal guardrail, the Utah Highway Patrol said.

The rider was wearing a full-face helmet and protective gear, troopers said. He was flown to a hospital, where he died of his injuries.
