WELLINGTON, Carbon County — One person was killed and six others injured when a minivan rolled Sunday morning near Wellington.
A Toyota Sienna was speeding on U.S. 6 just after 6 a.m. when the driver lost control of the vehicle, which went airborne off the road, hit an embankment and rolled, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
A total of seven people, all from Texas and New Jersey and ranging in ages from 20 to 30, were in the vehicle. Several people were ejected.
Kevin J. Bersuch, 20, of Hamberg, New Jersey, was killed.

The crash happened near Miller’s Truck Stop in Wellington. A 23-year-old man from Texas was driving. Investigators stated Monday that “drowsy driving is the likely reason” for the crash.
