When Insurance Runs Out, This Nonprofit Keeps Going

Neuroworx cofounders, Dale Hull and Jan Black, are dedicated to providing their patients with rehabilitation and, more importantly, hope. Located in Sandy, Utah, the nonprofit has a team of physical therapists who help clients affected by paralysis even after their insurance can no longer cover the costs of physical therapy. Neuroworx was founded after Hull, who suffered a spinal cord injury, took months of therapy from Black, and they decided they would start a clinic to help others like him.
