Donnie Hammond completed a blitz of the Oak Hills Country Club course Sunday with a 6-under-par 64 Sunday for a seven-shot victory in the Texas Open.

Hammond won his second PGA title by slashing a course-record 22 strokes off par for a 72-hole score of 258 that left runner-up Paul Azinger far behind.Hammond, a seven-year Tour veteran, never yielded the lead Sunday and secured the victory when he rolled in a 30-foot eagle putt at the 10th hole.
