Five former athletes were inducted into the BYU Athletic Hall of Fame Thursday night in a ceremony at the Stadium Cougar Club room. Golfer Michael Brannan, discus thrower Hugh Cannon, volleyball player Karen Curtis Lamb, gymnast Dennis Ramsey and distance runner Richard Reid joined 89 athletes, coaches and administrators who previously had been inducted into BYU's Hall of Fame since 1975.
