The Orlando Magic won a coin flip with the Minnesota Timberwolves and elected to pick first in the NBA's expansion draft. Minnesota will have the 10th overall pick in the June 27 college draft, followed by Orlando with the 11th pick.

Each NBA team can protect eight of 12 roster players, but can lose only one in the expansion draft, which could be as early as Thursday if Detroit completes a sweep of the Finals on Tuesday night. If the Lakers win Game 4, the draft will be held June 22.
