Labonte, who won the IROC race a week earlier at Michigan International Speedway, wound up with 72 points and total earnings of $204,900.

Unser, the fourth different winner in IROC this year, finished second with 60 points and $93,000.

At Budapest, Brazilian world champion Ayrton Senna clocked the fastest time in Saturday's final qualifying session, but Italian Riccardo Patrese hung on to the pole position for Sunday's Hungarian Formula One Grand Prix.

Senna drove his McLaren around the 2.465-mile Hungaroring circuit in 1:20.039, but was still more than .7 of a second slower than the 1:19.726 which Patrese's Williams-Renault posted Friday.

Patrese, a 35-year-old Italian driving in his 186th GP, did not try to improve on his pace-setting time. He ran a slow lap of 1:20.644.
