Brigham Young University students and faculty members will have access to some of the biggest names in retailing Thursday, Feb. 1, when the National Advisory Board for the Skaggs Institute of Retail Management visits BYU.

The presidents of Nordstrom, Mervyn's and The Limited Express as well as the chief executive officers of American Stores and Caldor and the executive vice presidents of J.C. Penney, Target and Fred Meyer will meet at BYU for two days to discuss future projects of the Skaggs program.While visiting BYU, the executives will participate in open discussions with the students and faculty of the business school. "It's an opportunity for students to have firsthand exposure to top executives," said Doyle E. Robison, director of the Skaggs Institute. "This contact helps to improve student perception of retailing and the student's understanding of the career opportunities out there."

The National Advisory Board will meet with BYU President Rex E. Lee and K. Fred Skousen, dean of the Marriott School of Management.
