Susan Cindicia "Dicia" Emert, beloved daughter, of Augustus C. and Effie May Stone Emert, age 86, died January 3, 1990 in a Price nursing home. She was born January 19, 1903 in Vernal. Graduated from Brigham Young University. Lived in Rangely and Vernal prior to Roosevelt. She traveled extensively. Taught elementary school in Duchesne County for 26 years. She was an active member of the LDS Church.
She is survived by two nephews and two nieces, Fred Demming, San Diego, Calif.; Paul Corwin Ajas, LaCombe, Canada; Edna Mahleres, Price; Josephine Diamanti, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by two sisters, May Bliss and Ethel Demming Murray.Funeral services 11 a.m., Saturday, January 6, Roosevelt LDS 4th Ward Chapel, 32 South State. Friends may call at Olpin-Hullinger Mortuary Friday Friday, 7-9 p.m. and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church. Burial, Vernal Memorial Park.
