Russell Dean Geary, 65, died Tuesday, October 8, 1991 at his home.

Born November 12, 1925 in Coalville to Austin Leo and Marvella Heiner Geary. Married Dana Anderson November 30, 1945 in Coalville; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple April 25, 1949. Member LDS Church, Hoytsville 2nd Ward, where he was an elder and had been a Scout Master. Graduated from North Summit High School, 1943. He was the founder and president of Geary Construction, Inc. For the past 45 years he worked in Wyoming, Nevada, and Utah, primarily in Summit County, where he worked for a better community for all. Former Mayor of Coalville, member American Legion and Lions Club. He loved the outdoors, and he always had time for others.Survived by his wife, Coalville; one son and two daughters, Tony Dean Geary, Hollywood, Calif.; Mrs. Kent (Jana Geary) Steele, Idyllwild, Calif.; DeAnn Geary, Park City; two grandsons, Brendon Dean Steele, and Sean Patrick Steele; one brother and three sisters, Grant Geary, Betty Vernon, Roma Maxwell, LaVaun Vernon, all of Coalville. Preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 1 p.m., in the Coalville Stake Chapel. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary in Coalville, Friday, from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment, Coalville Cemetery.
