A Santa Claus impersonator entered three Sandy homes uninvited on Saturday night, but instead of welcoming him, residents in the third house called police.
A man dressed as Santa appeared in the first house in the area of 10000 S. 1000 West about 10 p.m., glared at the occupants and said, "I thought you'd be in bed by now." He turned around and exited before the family could react, a Sandy police dispatcher said.A few minutes later the man entered a second home, near the first, and that family reported the same experience.
Family members blocked the man from entering after he opened the door to the third house, and after talking with their neighbors, they called police.
