William Alan Dilg, 74, of Willard died Wednesday, July 17, 1991, at his home.
He was born November 17, 1916 in Syracuse, New York, a son of William A. and Belle Louise Prentiss Dilg. He married Liliah Rogers December 10, 1942 in Glendale, Arizona. He was an active member of the LDS Church and had served three missions, with his wife; one in Saskatchewan, Canada and two in Salt Lake City as an appraiser for the Church Tax Department. He had worked many years as a volunteer preparing tax returns for the elderly. He had been a farmer in Malta, Idaho and Quincy, Washington; and had also worked in Oregon as an appraiser for Lane County.Surviving are his wife, of Willard; five sons, William Joseph Dilg, Oregon City, Oregon; John Alan Dilg, Eugene, Oregon; Danny Dilg, Spokane, Washington; Clyde Howard Dilg, Atwater, California; Carl Wayne Dilg, Brigham City. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at the graveside in the Willard Cemetery, Saturday at 8 a.m. with Bishop David Call officiating. Funeral Directors: Olsen-Myers Mortuary.
