Kenneth DeWitt Carlston, 76, died Saturday, January 4, 1992.
Born June 5, 1915 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Peter C. and Nilla Solbakken Hansen Carlston. He married Margaret Price January 20, 1940 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He graduated from the University of Utah in 1938. He was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He was one of the very first people to ski the untouched snows of Alta. He served in World War II as a captain in the Army Air Force.He was preceded in death by his brothers, LeGrand and Herald. He is survived by his wife, Margaret, his five children, Dennis P. Carlston, Ontario, Calif.; Gregory K. Carlston, Mission Viego, Calif.; Katherine Carlston
Miner, Salt Lake City; Steven D. Carlston, Agoura Hills, Calif.; Susan L. Carlston, West Los Angeles, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held January 10, 1992 in Whittier, California.
