Jamie Lee Curtis says making a movie with Mel Gibson helped her chase away the blues after her TV series, "Anything But Love," got the ax.

"The day after I got the word that the series was over, I opened up a script I'd just been sent and it was `Forever Young,' with Mel Gibson. I was thrilled," she told the Dec. 26 issue of TV Guide."He is astonishingly handsome. Does he have gorgeous blue eyes? Yes. If I was single and he was single, would I try to date him? Yes."

But Mel's good looks didn't keep Curtis from missing her "Anything But Love" co-star, comedian Richard Lewis. "He was not only my lover on television, he was my sweet friend. I miss very much laughing with him every day."
