Directions: Take I-84 east through Weber Canyon to Mountain Green, then south over Trappers Loop to Highway 39, or take 39 east through Ogden, Turnoff about 10 miles east of Pineview Reservoir on 39, then 1/2-mile to Causey.

Description: Almost a "Y" shaped reservoir that is narrow but deep. It is bordered by rock cliffs and ledges, some steep slopes, and some open beach area. Sagebrush on lower areas with pines and aspens near upper reaches.

What Works: Traditional baits are the key to good fishing here - night crawlers, salmon eggs, power bait and cheeses, in winter, try small white jigs and tear drops tipped with wax worm or red salmon egg.

Fish: Rainbow, cutthroat and brook trout

Details: This primarily a bait-type fishery. Limited success with lures. Find the shallow bays where water under 30 feet and fish those areas. Key is to fish off or near the bottom. Other popular areas along dam and southern arm where access is easiest.
