Helen Ann Deans Baldwin, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend quietly passed from her earthly existence following a lingering illness the 19th day of February, 1992 at the age of 76.

Born the daughter of Ernest and Bertha Steed Deans, February 12, 1916 at Farmington, Utah. Married Kelvin Alma Baldwin November 28, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, who preceded her in death July 7, 1977.Helen was an active member of the LDS Church all her life and served her fellowmen faithfully and continuously. Constantly sensitive to the needs of others and always willing to offer a helping hand. She was, by many simply known as friend. She spent most of her earthly years in Salt Lake City, Bountiful, St. George and Smithfield, Utah.

Survivors include children, Lloyd Deans Baldwin, Roy D Baldwin, Mrs. Roger (Lois) Watson, Mrs. Kendall (Anna) Ayres, Ross Lee Baldwin, Julie Baldwin; Mrs. Richard (Nanci) Schultz and their spouses, 41 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; as well as a brother, Leslie Deans and a sister Elaine Deans Opoulos.

Preceded in death by grandchildren, Trevis Chadburn and Connie Watson. Loved by those whose contact with her was both intimate and casual. Helen will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 22, 1992 at 11 a.m., Hillcrest 7th Ward LDS Chapel, 1200 East 8600 South, Sandy. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray and Saturday one hour prior to services at the church. Interment: Elysian Burial Gardens.
