Corina Johnsen Shortt Rowe, age 75, passed away February 25, 1992 at a local care center.
Born April 1, 1916 in Salt Lake City to Charles and Matilda Johnsen Shortt. Married Vern Rowe in Vallejo, California. He preceded her in death on November 20, 1970. Corina was educated at Wilson, Madison, and Granite High schools. She attended the South Gate Ward during her younger years. Worked for the Civil Service in Vallejo, California and for the Bremerton School District for 14 years, retiring as supervisor of the District Baking Department.Corina will be deary missed by her family and loved ones.
Survived by son, Richard Rowe; granddaughter, Dawn Rowe, both Bremerton, Wash.; brothers, Thomas O. Shortt, Salt Lake City; Alfred Shortt, Washington City; sisters, Mrs. Max (Elsie) Cannon, Provo; Mrs. Richard (Joyce) Michels, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by brothers John and Charles Shortt.
Funeral services Saturday, February 29, 1992, at 2:00 p.m., at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, where friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Murray City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the U of U, Arthritis Research Dept., 306 Park Bldg., SLC, 84112, in Corina's name.
