Students Against Driving Drunk has appointed William F. Cullinane as their new executive director. The former director and founder Robert Anastas retired Jan. 1.

Cullinane has been the assistant director of SADD for five years. He's been a teacher, administrator and coach at the high school level for 27 years. He has been an adjunct professor of health education at Worchester State College and a consultant to many schools and communities in the areas of alcohol and drug education."SADD will launch a comprehensive kindergarten through college program within a year, that will focus on the empowerment of students and the caring triangle of home, school and community," he said.
