Fish: Rainbow and browns

What works: Most of the fishing for rainbow is done with traditional baits - cheese, worms, salmon eggs and power baits. Good place to try flies for browns. Wooly buggers and wooly worm work well. Also small dry flies on the surface. Great place for a fly and bubble for large browns.

Details: Fish the inlets in the spring and move to deeper water y the dam a

s temperature rises. Fish for big browns by inlets in the fall. Also try large wobblers or minnow-type lures in the fall for large browns.

Notes: A very convenient fishing spot. Only about 30 minutes from Salt Lake City.

Reservoir was built in the late 1980s and because of design and guaranteed conservation pool has become a very good fishery. Generally has a carryover of fish and is typically planted in early spring. Some primitive shoreline camping, but best accommodations in nearby towns. Can use float tubes and row boats only. No motors allowed.
