Lucille Vigos Giles, age 69, passed away peacefully at her home, July 14, 1992, in Salt Lake City, UT, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Oct. 6, 1922 in Salt Lake City, to George and Nellie Meyer Vigos. She married R. Glen Giles June 17, 1946 in the LDS Salt Lake Temple. Lucille worked with her husband at Giles Press and later for the U. S. Forest Service. She enjoyed spending time at her family cabin and working in her flower garden.She is survived by her husband, R. Glen Giles; son, Rick Giles; daughters, Sheryl Markham, Debbie Rowland, Wendy Giles; ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; brothers, James, William and Richard Vigos.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon Friday, July 17 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City. There will be a viewing at the mortuary, Thursday, July 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. and from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. prior to the services at the mortuary on Friday. Interment Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park
