David Mons Schauerhamer, 51, passed away peacefully, August 31, 1992 at his home in Alpine, Utah after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born June 4, 1941 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Williard John and Dorothy Morgansen Schauerhamer. He married Sharlet (Sheri) Jensen, August 12, 1963 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Dave was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He received joy from his family's accomplishments. His greatest happiness came from his family. He served in many capacities of his church, including three different bishoprics. Economy Builders Supply was a big part of his life, it was founded in 1951 by his father. Dave worked by his side from the age of 13. He eventually took over management, expanded it to 3 locations. The success attained by that business in large part was a result of his keen financial and managerial ability. Dave was a hard worker and taught others the value of work. Dave had a keen sense of humor, which was enjoyed by all. He loved to play jokes on others. He was a happy person, experiencing great joy out of life.

He is survived by his wife, Sheri, and six children: his oldest son, Scott and wife, Kelly, with two daughters, Monique and Amanda, reside in American Fork; his wife Sheri and their other five children, Todd, Michelle, Troy, Kristi, Nichole, reside in Alpine, Utah. He has two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Diane) Liddiard, Salt Lake; Mrs. Warren (Sandra) Bradshaw, also of Alpine. Preceded by parents.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 25, 1992, 2 p.m. at the Alpine Stake Center, 98 East Canyoncrest Rd., Alpine, Utah. Friends may call Monday 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 So. 900 East and Tuesday 11/2 hours prior to services at the stake center in Alpine. Interment, Alpine City Cemetery.
