Mrs. Annie B. "Nan" Lewis, age 92, of Idaho Falls and longtime Salt Lake City resident, died November 12, 1993 at Good Samaritan Hospice Center in Idaho Falls of causes incident to age.

She was born December 23, 1900 at Sunshine, Utah, the daughter of John Butte and Annie Briggs Butte. She grew up in Salt Lake City and received her education there.She married C. Ward Lewis on November 22, 1920 and their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died December 18, 1965. She was a homemaker and mother.

She was an active member of the LDS Church, and was proud of the fact that she had been a visiting teacher for 70 years. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and homemaker.

She had lived in Salt Lake City for 92 years and moved to Idaho Falls to live with her daughter in July 1993.

Survived by her daughter, Mrs. Melvin L. "Carolyn" Erickson, Idaho Falls; daughter-in-law, Jean W. Lewis, Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren, 26 greatgrandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, seven sisters, her husband and a son.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 17, 1993, 1 p.m. at the Salt Lake City LDS 33rd Ward Chapel, (11th East between 4th and 5th South), with Bishop George Pearson officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Arrangement by Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls.
