Loretta Agnes Murphy Parry Smith passed away December 6, 1993 in Spokane.
A resident of the community since 1972; a member of St. John Vianney Parish; The Jesuit Mother's Auxiliary; Catholic Business Valley Senior Center; Grandmothers Club; Sacred Heart Service League and YLI Oxnard. Also taught first grade at St. Anthony's in Oxnard, California. Retired from teaching in 1972.Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Kathryn Parry of Spokane: Thomas and Meleda Smith of Oxnard, California; daughter and son-in-law, Loretta and Floyd Hayden of Spokane; daughter-in-law, Ruth Parry of Mercer Island, Washington; 17 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; brothers, William and Jack Murphy both of Cottonwood, California and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husbands, Earl Parry in 1939, Bertram Smith in 1959 and a son Earl Parry in 1971.
Vigil service and Funeral Mass were held, Saturday December 11, 1993 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Spokane. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, December 13, 1993 in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City where friends may call from 10:45 - 11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 503 N.
