Arvilla Hansen Greenwood, 92, passed away December 13, 1993, in a Murray hospital.
Born May 18, 1901, in Murray, Utah, to Orson and Amy Gilbert Hansen. Married Ray P. Greenwood on May 10, 1922, in Salt Lake LDS Temple; he died March 31, 1986. Active member of the LDS Church, member General Board of the D.U.P., served on the Days of '47 Queen Committee and was Co-chairman of the Days of '47 Rodeo Committee. Shared her musical talents on the piano and organ on many occasions.Survived by sons and daughters: Ray Perry (Paulene); Gene Calvin (Lila), both Draper; Thomas O., Heber; Mildred Anderson (Richard L.), Bellvue, Washington; Elaine Singleton (Stanley L.), Salt Lake City; 25 grandchildren; 82 great-grandchildren; sister, Ellis Ockey, Spokane, Washington; preceded in death by two sets of infant twins; brother, Elvis Hansen.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 16, 1993, 11 a.m. at Hillside Ward, 495 East 5600 South. Friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St. and Thursday 10-10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
