Times have sure changed for the Montreal Canadiens and Los Angeles Kings since last season's Stanley Cup finals.
The Cup-winning Canadiens are having problems scoring goals and winning games. The Kings, the other team in the 1993 Finals, can't buy a victory on the road. Both continued to struggle Tuesday night, the Canadiens skating to a 1-1 tie with lowly Tampa Bay and the Kings losing 4-2 at Pittsburgh.
"We're at a point where we have to win hockey games," Wayne Gretzky said after the Kings lost their eighth straight road game. "I don't care if it's 2-1 or 8-7, just as long as we win."
