Joan Hales Hansen, age 87, died December 12, 1993 of causes incident to age in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was born May 5, 1906 in Riverside, Utah to Stephen Alexander Hales, Jr. and Mary Ellen Fox Hales. She married M.E. "Mike" Hansen October 1, 1927 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was a member of the LDS Church.Survived by daughter, Beverlee (John) Wright; son, M. Ray (Suzanne) Hansen; grandchildren, Mark (Pam) Wright, Shelley Wright, Christopher (Debbie) Wright, Stuart (Melissa) Wright, Michael Hansen, Paul (Heidi) Hansen, Philip Hansen, and Nathan Hansen; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Odetta Bramwell, LaVerne Coombs, Katherine Hansen, and Lynette Bowers. Preceded in death by her husband; three brothers; five sisters; and grandson, Gregory Wright.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 17, 1993 at 12 noon, at Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, where friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday evening and again on Friday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Mountain View Memorial Estates Cemetery. Funeral directors, Deseret Mortuary.
