Phyllis Brown Bassett, age 93, died December 13, 1993 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born October 23, 1900 in Salt Lake City to Ernest S. and Lucy Shaw Brown. Married Ralph G. Bassett on September 20, 1920 in Provo, Utah. He died April 14, 1989.Phyllis enjoyed travelling; also playing bridge and other card games. Former resident of Denver, Colorado (1954-1989). Member of the LDS Church.
She loved her family and is survived by a daughter, Mildred (husband, Jack A.) Paul; three grandsons, Jeffrey (wife, Madelene); Mark A.; and Jerry B. (wife, Margaret) Paul; four great-granddaughters, Jodi, Carlie, Mindy, and Courtney; and a sister, Kathryn (husband, Robert M.) Penrose.
Funeral services on Saturday, December 18, at 11 a.m., Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
