Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Karla Bahe Beesley, age 87, returned to her Father in Heaven on December 15, 1993 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born July 7, 1906 in Hannover, Germany to Henrich and Dorette Engelhardt Bahe. Married A. Douglas Beesley on August 24, 1941 in New York City; solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died November 20, 1973.Active member of the LDS Church serving as a Salt Lake Temple worker for many years and as a secretary in the Sunday School. She was the McKay Ward custodian for many years.
She had a great love for her family and will be dearly missed.
Survived by two sons, Melvin H. (Linda) Beesley, Riverton, UT; and Orson B. Beesley (Suzanne), West Valley City, UT; daughter, Myra (Robert) McDonald, Murray, UT; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Alma B. (Wilhelm) Wille, Salt Lake. Preceded in death by two brothers and one great-grandson.
Funeral services Saturday, December 18th, at 11 a.m., McKay Ward, 1623 South 500 East. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Friday evening 6-8 pm, and at the Ward on Saturday, one hour prior to services. Burial, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
