Utah's embarrassing dietary claim to fame - that we consume more ice cream per capita than any other U.S. state - has been immortalized in the newest edition of Trivial Pursuit, thanks to Salt Laker Kimberly Safman.
Safman is one of nine Utahns who have had questions chosen for the new "All American Edition." Parker Brothers has included 4,800 questions suggested by people nationwide.Utah is the subject of four other questions:
Question: In what musical group do you have to be over 30, under 60 and a Mormon to belong?
Question: What American religion teaches abstinence from alcohol, tobacco, coffee and tea? (Former "Music and the Spoken Word" announcer J. Spencer Kinard penned these two questions.)
Question: What's the name of Robert Redford's resort and film institute near Provo, Utah? (This one came from Provoan Fiona Robinson.)
Question: What is the oldest department store in America? (Robert Chamberlain, toy buyer for ZCMI, submitted this one.)
Other Utahns whose questions were selected include Scott Catron, Julia Slama, Matthew Roblez, Sandra Larson, Tiffani Thomas and Robert E. Wood.
Mickey Mantle and Casey Kasem also had questions chosen, according to Parker Brothers.
