Ora Tait Vargo, age 73, passed away December 14, 1993 in Elko, Nevada.
Born June 13, 1920 in Enterprise, Utah to Emery H. Tate and Weltha Workman Tait. Married Michael Vargo August 12, 1936 in Ephraim, Utah. Marriage later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He preceded her in death. Member, LDS Church. She lived in Salt Lake since 1952; earlier she lived in Ephraim, Utah.She was the oldest of 12 children and the cornerstone of the family. She loved to play cards, loved the outdoors, especially going to the sheep camps as a child.
Survived by a son, Michael C. Vargo; three grandchildren, Frank and Craig Vargo, and Suzanne Hertel; five great-grandchildren; nine brothers and sisters, Rhoana Workman, Lenna Robinson, Lola Renee Nielson, Emery H. Tait, Stanley D. Tait, Jon A. Tait, Gayle Syndergaard, DaNece Fickett. Preceded in death by two sisters, June and Edith.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 18, 1993, at 11 a.m., at Lake Hills Memorial Park, 10055 South State Street in Sandy, where friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, and one hour prior to services on Saturday. Interment, Lake Hills Memorial Park. Funeral directors, Deseret Mortuary.
