Thoroughbred trainer Jeff Lukas suffered a critical head injury when hit by a runaway horse at Santa Anita. Lukas, 36, was taken by helicopter to the Huntington Memorial Hospital emergency room about 9 a.m, and two hours later reported in critical condition.
