A man is charged with aggravated robbery after he admitted to holding up a Taylorsville credit union Nov. 30.

A video camera recorded the holdup at the Hercules Credit Union, 3141 W. 4700 South. A teller told investigators the man pushed an envelope through her window, indicating he had a gun and the woman would be shot if she didn't return the envelope filled with cash, according to a Salt Lake County sheriff's report and charges filed in 3rd Circuit Court. The woman complied and the man fled south with the money.He was later arrested and remained in the Salt Lake County Jail Thursday. The man was denied bail as he's on parole for a previous aggravated robbery offense, the charges state.
