On Oct. 26, 1993, James Lee Like was paroled from the Utah State Prison, where he had served part of a five-year sentence for theft of a firearm.
One month later, Like checked out of a Salt Lake community correctional center to search for a job. He never returned to the center.
Like has been in and out of prison since he was 16. He has an extensive criminal record that includes bank robbery, armed robbery, kidnapping, grand larceny and forgery. Investigators believe he may have fled Utah for Indiana, where a former wife lives.
The FBI warns he should be considered dangerous and possibly armed.
