BYU's 6-3 junior center Debbie Dimond scored a game-high 23 points, took down 10 boards and logged four blocks against the University of Texas Friday night, but the Cougars lost a 95-82 decision to the well-balanced Longhorns.

The Cougars' "Instant Offense," Behka Stafford, came off the bench to hit five of nine treys and finished with 22 points.Nikki Eyre and Thais Kidd added eleven points apiece as the Cougars boosted their hitting percentage to 46.4 from last week's two-game cold spell.

"We are tickled to death that our cohesiveness came back," said coach Jeanie Wilson. "We played about 30 minutes of really good basketball and then their athleticism just beat us."
