Olive Leah Swenson Sharp, 87, died Dec. 15, 1993 at the Murray Care Center.

Born June 27, 1906 in Union, Utah to Pierce Adelbert and Mary Leah Glover Swenson. Married Reuben Henry Sharp on September 29, 1925 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died April 8, 1977. Olive was an active member of the LDS Church and served an LDS Stake Mission. She was also a member of the Golden Bees.Survived by a son, Stanley R. and wife, Nancy, Midvale; grandchildren, Mrs. Jerry (Janet) Wellman; Craig S. (Sharron) Sharp, both Utah; Ryan L. Sharp, California; four great grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Frank (Dora) Butler and Mrs. Alvin (Fern) Sharp, both of Idaho; Mrs. Marshall (Wanda) Burkett, California; brother, S. Don and wife, Ruth, Kent, Wash.; sisters-in-law, Nellie S. Cutler, Ann S. Sharp, both Utah. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Irven A., Albert G. and Vivian N.

Funeral services Monday, December 20, 1993, at 11 a.m. in the Midvale 3rd LDS Ward Chapel 75 Olympus St. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
