Knott's Berry Farm, the 250-acre amusement park in Buena Park, Calif., has declared Wednesday, Dec. 29 "Utah Ute Day" and is inviting all University of Utah alumni and supporters to a park-wide school celebration, pep rally and reunion at the park on that day, the day before the Runnin' Utes football team plays in the Freedom Bowl.

Utah will play the Southern California Trojans Dec. 30 in the 10th annual Freedom Bowl at Anaheim Stadium, which is about a 10-minute drive from Knotts Berry Farm.Trojan fans will have their day in the park Dec. 27.

Knott's is offering a special $15.95 park admission ticket for all Ute alumni, fans and friends wearing or displaying the U. team name or logo. The offer is good Dec. 27-30 only and includes all of the park's 165 rides, shows and attractions.

Regular Knott's Berry Farm admission is $25.95.

To become eligible for the discounted admission, Utah supporters need only show up at any Knott's ticket booth wearing or displaying the Runnin' Utes name, logo or insignia. Supporters wearing the school's colors only will not be eligible.
