Kenneth Earl Foster, 85, our loved and respected husband, father and grandfather, died December 16, 1993.
Born November 8, 1908 in Manassa, Colorado to Henry and Emily Catherine Forbes Foster. On June 19, 1929, Kenneth was married to M. Berneice Winn in the Salt Lake LDS Temple by Joseph Fielding Smith. Kenneth worked for Kennecott Copper Corporation for 46 years where he was an electric shovel operator. He was Past State President of the F.O.E. and also Past President of the Bingham-Midvale F.O.E. Lodge, Aerie #659. He was a temple worker at both the Salt Lake and Jordan River LDS Temples. He enjoyed many hobbies, including hunting and fishing. Kenneth had a great generosity for others in need, but the real light of his life was his family.Survivors: wife, M. Berneice, Copperton; son, Kenneth Wynne and wife, Karen, Kearns; daughter, Sharlene Pullan and husband, Grant, Midvale; 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ivan, Francis, Forbes. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Raymond and Randall; sisters, Lillian Simonson, Fern Whipple and Olive Henderson.
Funeral services Monday, December 20, 1993, at 12 noon in the Copperton LDS Ward Chapel, Copperton, Utah. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State St., Midvale, Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday at the church from 10:45-11:45 a.m. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
