Mildred Isabell Sellers Evans, 87, died December 16, 1993 in West Valley City, Utah.
Born February 12, 1906 in Bingham, Utah to Joseph Harwood and Millie Sadler Sellers. Later moved to Draper where she grew up. Married Richard (Bob) Aldredge Evans October 15, 1924 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died June 23, 1972 at the age of 74.Worked at Kearns Army Base during World War II. Retired from Rocky Mountain Wholesale Drug Co. Self-employed for many years cleaning and pressing curtains. Renowned for her excellent bread-making skills, which she taught to many. She was an out spoken person, but had a kind and generous heart. She loved flowers and gardening, loved to crochet, knit, and cross-stitch, which she did up to the last year of her life.
A member of the LDS Church, she served in the Primary, Young Women, and Relief Society organizations.
Survived by sons, Richard Duane (Bob) and wife Nita of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and Joseph H. (Joe) and wife Kay of Magna; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren sisters, Bessie Larson, Orpha Harvey, Wana Thomas.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 12 noon, at the Pleasant Green 1st Ward, 8739 West 3000 South. Friends may call both Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday, 11-11:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
