A 17-year-old Ogden youth was found guilty of aggravated assault this week in 2nd District Juvenile Court for his part in the September fist fight that left a Northridge High School student partially paralyzed.
The two youths, ringed by about a dozen companions, fought during a confrontation Sept. 7 in a mobile home park just north of the high school.The fight left Gilbert Solas, 16, Layton, partially paralyzed with head and neck injuries.

Juvenile Judge Stephen A. Van Dyke found the defendant guilty after hearing testimony for a little over five hours. Sentencing is set for Jan. 4.
