"Northern Exposure" star Barry Corbin broke his left leg and foot when he fell off a horse at his home near Seattle.

Corbin, who plays a retired astronaut on the television show, was injured Friday and taken to Harborview Medical Center, where he was in satisfactory condition Saturday, said nursing supervisor Mary Pilgrim.The television show is filmed in Roslyn and Redmond. Corbin has a home in Arlington, north of Seattle.

John Vreeke, associate producer of "Northern Exposure," said it was too soon to tell what effect Corbin's accident would have on the show's production schedule. Eleven more episodes must be shot this season, he said.
