Funeral will be at noon Tuesday for Wayne Jeremy Anderson, 85, an educator, author, lecturer and family counselor, who died Dec. 16, 1993, of natural causes at his Salt Lake home.
The rites will be held in the Brighton LDS 5th Ward chapel, 2525 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 South). Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 S. 2300 East, and at the ward chapel Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Burial will be in Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.Mr. Anderson, who held bachelor's and master's degrees in economics from the University of Utah and who received a doctorate in educational psychology and family life from the U., taught at South High School seven years and was a civilian employee of the Army Corps of Engineers during World War II.
He was executive director of the Utah Social Hygiene Association, a professor in the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis) College of Family Living and was the author of nine books.
