The U.S. Treasury has announced its third national student poster contest for children in grades 4-6.
Savings bonds of $1,000, $500 and $200 will be awarded first-, second- and third-place winners in the individual states. The school of the first-place winner will receive a computer, said Nick J. Rodriguez, area manager.National winners will receive bonds for $5,000, $1,000 and $500 respectively, in an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C., for the winners and a parent or guardian.
