Rose Marie Adamson Devey, 76, our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, died December 19, 1993 in American Fork.

Born March 10, 1917 in American Fork to Louis Adelbert and Maybell Woodhouse Adamson. She married Ranald Healey Devey May 12, 1938 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Rose was a member of the DUP and the American Fork Civic Chorus. She was an active leader in LDS Church service, having served in the presidency of many organizations, including 15 years in the Primary at the training school. Her greatest service was to her family and her greatest joy was her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of Alpine; two sons, four daughters: Richard and Marilyn Devey, American Fork; Dorothy and Ken McClure, Roy; Larry and Kathy Devey, Lehi; Sherry and Gary Boren, Cindy and Scott Marlin, all of Alpine; Lara Lee and Steve Conran, Half Moon Bay, Calif; 23 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; three sisters: Larraine Brown, Spanish Fork; Dorothy Taylor, San Jose, Calif; Helen Smith, American Fork.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, 11 a.m. in the Alpine 5th Ward, 98 East Canyon Crest Road. Friends may call at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, Tuesday, 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday at the church one hour prior to services. Burial, Alpine Cemetery.
