Monday, Dec. 20- The American Fork Community Symphony will present a Christmas concert at 7:30 p.m. at the American Fork Junior High School Auditorium, 1120 N. 20 West. The 60-member symphony orchestra is sponsored by the American Fork Arts Council and is under the direction of Clinton Bell and Gordon Childs. Admission is free, but a $1 donation is suggested.
Tuesday, Dec. 21
- The Orem Community Church, 140 N. 400 East, will present its annual Live Nativity, Tuesday through Thursday, Dec. 21-23, from 7 to 9 p.m. The public is invited to drive by or stop and enjoy the spirit of Christmas. Admission is free.
- The "Night In Bethlehem" Nativity festival will be held at 2, 4, 6, and 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, Dec. 21-23, at Utah Valley State College. Cost is $4 for adults, $2.50 for children and $15 for families (up to 6 members) and are available at Smith'sTix and the UVSC ticket office. The festival includes shops and camel rides. The public is encouraged to dress in the costumes of the era.
Friday, Dec. 24
- The public is invited to join in the birth of Jesus Christ at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 172 N. 500 West, Provo. The Vigil Mass will be celebrated at 5:30 p.m. The traditional Midnight Mass will be celebrated twice, once at 9:30 p.m. and again at 11:30 p.m. The 5:30 and 11:30 p.m. Masses will be bilingual.
Saturday, Dec. 25
- The public is invited to a Christmas Day Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 172 N. 500 West, Provo. The 9:30 a.m. Mass will be in English and the 11:30 a.m. in Spanish. The Franciscans from St. Francis will also celebrate a Christmas Mass in Spanish at San Isidro Church in Elberta at 7 p.m. There is no Saturday 5:30 p.m. Mass.
Sunday, Dec. 26
- The public is invited to attend the celebration of The Feast of the Holy Family with Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 172 N. 500 West, Provo. Mass will be held at 8 and 9:30 a.m. in English, and 11:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. in Spanish.
